[Reasons for Recommendation]
Efficient and economical genomic and transcriptome sequencing technology can be used to discover genetic mutations and prevent the development of degenerative diseases, which has opened the door of seeking better treatments for different populations. Prof. Lars Bolund, Director of BGI Lars Bolund Institute of Regenerative Medicine, was invited to introduce the researches on such technologies as genetic editing, activation of in vivo mechanisms to regenerate tissue, degenerative disease progression and regenerative medicine, etc. for achieving the goal of prolonging the healthy life.
