About the Speaker:
Dr. Chien-fei Chen is a social psychologist, research professor and director of education and diversity program at CURENT in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also an adjunct faculty in the department of sociology.
Currently, she leads the project of social impact of grid technologies for CURNET and involved with the investigation of social psychological factors affecting building occupant behaviors for the International Energy Agency (IEA). She also leads the sustainability education program for the NSF-REC-SEES Network.
