SEU Attended 2024 Education Exhibition in Latin America

To promote the “Study in China” brand and publicize the achievements of China’s higher education reform and development, from November 20th to 30th, 2024, the China Scholarship Council organized the 2024 China Higher Education Exhibition in Colombia, Brazil, and Peru. The exhibition involved 23 well-known universities in China, including Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. To expand Southeast University’s international influence and attract more international students, Ms. Zhang Mengjie from College of International Students attended the exhibition.

During the exhibition, our representative warmly received inquiries from local students and parents, comprehensively introduced the university and also its academic characteristics, majors, and application procedures, providing detailed and patient answers to the application requirements, accommodation conditions, living expenses, and other concerns of students and parents. More than a hundred students expressed their intention to apply after the exhibition and left their personal information. During the exhibition, the Chinese Ambassador to Colombia, Mr. Zhu Jingyang, the Chinese Ambassador to Peru, Mr. Song Yang, and the Secretary-General of the China Scholarship Council visited Southeast University’s booth.

The 2024 China Higher Education Exhibition held in Colombia, Brazil, and Peru allowed young students in Latin America to further understand Southeast University’s application policies and educational strength, and also promoted exchanges and cooperation between Chinese universities and local universities. Subsequently, Southeast University will consolidate and expand the results of the exhibition, strive to recruit more outstanding students from Latin America, and attract more excellent students to “Study at Southeast University”.

The 2024 China Higher Education Exhibition has successfully enhanced Southeast University’s presence in Latin America, and the university is committed to furthering its efforts in recruiting outstanding international students while fostering deeper academic exchanges and cooperation with local institutions.
