As one of the "Double First-class Initiative" universities in China, Southeast University (SEU) will continue to implement the cross-school enrollment (enroll students under large subject categories with their specific majors to be declared in the second or third year) in 2020, thus giving students more freedom of choice. SEU will enroll students of 83 undergraduate majors this year, 77 of which are classified into 14 large subject categories, including 5 engineering experimental classes and 9 other sub-categories (see below for more details). The 6 majors which do not fall into large subject categories are biomedical engineering, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, labor and social security, English and Japanese.
