Companies in the financial services industries have a chance to trumpet their achievements in distressed investing and corporate turnarounds by participating in The M and A Advisor’s inaugural Turnaround Awards program.

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner in conjunction with MandA Advisor’s Conference on Distressed Investing, March 19 at the Colony in Palm Beach, Fla.

For these awards, law and accounting firms, financial consultancies, commercial and investment banks, and private equity firms are encouraged to nominate successful turnaround projects in which they participated. Resolutions achieved within the past 12 months are eligible. Recognizing that distressed companies in non-bankruptcy situations will insist on anonymity, The MandA Advisor is providing for anonymous submissions.

Nominations are due Monday, Jan. 8, at 3 p.m. EST, but the deadline may be extended. Forms may be requested by e-mail to info (at) maadvisor.com or downloaded at http://www.maadvisor.com/cnt/files/turnaroundform.doc
