Blogging as a “tool” Bloggen als "Werkzeug"
I’m not sure why we are surprised that some Wal-Mart blogs were really planted PR campaigns, disguised to paint the client in a favorable light. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, warum wir sind überrascht, dass einige Wal-Mart waren Blogs wirklich gepflanzt PR-Kampagnen, verschleierte malen den Client in einem günstigen Licht. Is it slightly disingenuous? Ist es leicht unaufrichtig? Sure, maybe they should have put a little “sponsored by Wal-Mart” disclaimer at the bottom. Sicher, vielleicht sollten sie haben ein wenig "gesponsert von Wal-Mart" Disclaimer am unteren Ende. But still, is it disingenuous every time you see a Dell PC on 24 or a Pepsi being sipped in a movie. Aber noch ist es unaufrichtig jedes Mal, wenn Sie sehen, von einem Dell-PC auf 24 oder Pepsi nippte wird in einem Film. In most cases, these are paid placements as well. In den meisten Fällen handelt es sich um bezahlte Praktika zu gut. I guess we hold blogging up to a higher standard of truthfulness and disclosure, but let’s be real folks. Ich denke, wir halten das Bloggen bis zu einem höheren Maß an Wahrhaftigkeit und Offenlegung, aber laßt uns als echte Leute. It’s not different than any other media. Es ist nicht anders als alle anderen Medien. It’s about influence and the hidden purse strings are being pulled in our little world as well.
